Wanna add some Netflix friends?

DirtyDiggs posted this in another thread, but I thought the idea was good enough to warrant a thread of its own.

Netflix has a little thing called the "friends" feature. Basically it helps you fill your queue by letting you browse other people's ratings. I think you can also make recommendations to them. It's a cool little feature, but currently my only "friend" has 17 movies rated compared to my 1100+. Plus I just cancelled my cable, so I'm going to need some good ideas for more DVDs to check out.

So this thread is for anybody interested in adding some 2+2'ers to their netflix friends list. I would recommend replying here if you're interested, then PM'ing each other for their actual email to send the friend invite. Anytime you post your email to a public forum you're just asking to be added to three thousand more spam email lists.

Obviously I'm in. I guess we can get a list going then, shoot out the PMs. I don't know why they make the e-mail requirements and don't you just add people a la myspace.

I apologize in advance for the glut of movies in the 4 and 5 star range. I started rating them a long time ago, and I grossly underused the 2 star. Poor 2 star, bastard child of the 5 star rating system. Lots of them should just be shifted down by 1 star across the board. Oh well, close enough. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Well I havne't rated a lot of movies on Netflix yet. On IMDb I have like 300 rated....but not nearly that on Netflix.

And that's cool, just ignore my rating and go the other way maybe. haha.
