25NL: KK Facing Heat on Turn
This is the first hand I've posted so be nice. Anyway, I'd played about 40 hands at the table and villain had been relatively passive so far. The only time he came out betting big was when he had flopped top two pair.
PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter ($52.90) SB ($35.75) BB ($24.85) Hero ($41.80) MP ($11.70) Preflop: is with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $0.75. Flop: ($2.15) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $2</font>, folds, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $7</font>, Hero calls $3. Turn: ($12.15) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $10</font>, Hero folds. Final Pot: $22.15 He didn't seem to be being donktastic with AT or something and he didn't 3bet PF so I didn't think he was overplaying JJ or QQ either. Thus I thought folding was the only option. Thoughts? |

Re: 25NL: KK Facing Heat on Turn
Im by no means an expert, but i think the fold was correct. You played a decent number of hands with him to get a reasonable amount of info on his style, so you have to be suspicious of the check raise on that flop.
