Default Big draw OOP vs maniac

I had this situation come up twice tonight against the same player. Player was a total maniac 62/46/3 in over 400 hands. He always bet pot after his pf raises, and would 3-barrell if he didn't encounter resistance. Anyway, here's the situation:

NL $.5/1 Hero and villain both have at least a full buy-in

Hero dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in BB

Villian raises to $3.5 in CO, Hero calls $2.5

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero?

Against a normal opponent I would check-raise the flop. One thing that makes this tricky is that he is calling my C/R like 45% of the time, shoving 45%, and folding the rest. This means I have very little fold equity and may be left guessing on the turn if I don't hit.

This guy is willing to get it in w/any type of pair or draw, so I'm ahead of his range most of the time. He's so crazy though, that I'm not sure if there is a better line or not.

Isnt this a great spot for b/3b? Just bet a little less than pot, he raises, you push. If he calls as loose as you say, youre mega +EV.

if he is willing to get it in with any pair or draw then just b/3b ai or crai. you could c/c but if he pots a blank turn you are in a [censored] spot.

If he's going to get all his money in on later streets with pretty much any hand, doing anything other than check-calling is pretty gross. You only have K-high.

So basically, I do everything I can to get the money in on the flop?

What about the fact that I have a pretty big equity edge over his range?

By the river, you'll have a much bigger edge, or you'll be able to fold.

So:

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, villian bets $7.5, Hero calls

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or any brick

Hero checks, villain bets $22.5, Hero calls??
