Bluff-raising is bad IMO (since he's more likely to be betting for value) but I think it's ok to bet when he checks to you. Obviously you can only win by bluffing but fortunately you only have to win the spot 1 out of 6 times for it to be profitable, and I think there are enough hands like T8s, 87s, 75s, etc. in his range that he'll fold more often than that.

I think your flop and turn play is fine, don't bluff raise the river, fold, but your bet when checked to is fine.

Dude, we have a pair, plus a really cruddy backdoor.

Edit: BTW, the way I play this hand is based on the idea that he's very spewy and likely to pull this sort of play with like K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

If he's very spewy, is he going to be capable of folding aces up w/ K kicker?

I'd fold the flop.

Flop seems like a simple fold.

Your investing 2BB for a 7.75BB pot. You have make that raise work >26% to be profitable. Based on his stats, I'd say this guy shows down K hi here.
Do his Qhi hands make up more that 26% of his range when he bets the river???
