You don't need a passport if you are from a Schengen country. There is no one to check your passport even if you did bring it. Just bring some form of ID for the airline workers and security screening.

If they get really nazi on the airport in Amsterdam, they may tell you that your visa card/bank card isn't valid id in EU (as it isn't), so bring your driver license. Very rare that you will get any troubles, but they may sometimes ask you for it when you go back to Norway.

You don't need your passport to enter the country, but I had to show the passport when I was entering the casino
(I'm Norwegian as well)

Yeah, [censored], I was actually not allowed to enter casino in Berlin due to this, even if I had my Visa-card.

Holland Casino is actually pretty nice during the MCOP. Ofcourse you can't compare it to Vegas but still.. They spread 10/20 20/40 40/80 and up. 250NL up to 5kNL, also some PLO games up to 5kPLO. And PLHE for the frenchies.
I'll be playing the limit cashgames there this week.

Oh and I forgot the best thing, you've got a big chance to sit at the table with Marcel Luske.
