Default Camtasia Videos

I recently acquired Camtasia. I made a video and sent if off to my friend, but he said his computer didn't recognize the file. Do you have to convert the movie file? If not, what program views that type of file?

P.S. I hope this makes sense. I'm a computer noob...

I'm thinking your friend is missing the codec that you used to encode the video.

tell your friend to do a google search for "VLC media player" and download it. it plays pretty much every format of video.
