Default PLO8 $25 with deep stacks - who is getting quartered?

What do people think I should do on the turn and river? Villain is pretty aggressive and may overvalue his hands a little bit. My PTO is having troubles, so no numbers.

Am I being a coward for not putting the rest (admittedly, not that much more) in on the river?

I don't know how you only call the river. I think this a pretty clear raise. Very few hands quater you. You have the nut low and trips in a HU pot...

Edit: checking behind is the safe play... I might not want to play for stacks - but it is exactly this type of player that makes this game so profitable.

you would have made more on the hand than I did, the results were in white at the end of the hand. I did in fact end up quartering him.

[/ QUOTE ] This is certainly true, and I think a very strong case can be made for putting the rest in. The question I would ask is: What kind of hand that Im beating for high check called the flop and checkraised the turn? A23x maybe, but that would be a pretty adventurous checkraise on the turn. By the way, the actualy results proved you to be right, as he basically had a naked A3.

[/ QUOTE ] Checking behind when? on the flop?
