So I'm in the market to buy my first car as a grown up, and want to know what some of you think I should get. I would love to have bought a 2006 Audi A4, but at about 32k, it's a little out of my price range. Anything under 24k that's cool but still a pretty good value? I'm going to be spending some time in it, so I'd like something that's fun to drive.

I would reccomend my car, Scion TC, or the 2006 Honda Civic with a navigation system.

Acutally, Swede, I'm looking on Carmax right now, and it seems like I could actually get the car I want in my price range, just with something like 40k miles on it. Which brings up another question, have any of you bought a used car before, would you, and if so, what's the safest way to do it so you know you're not getting screwed?
