Depends what you mean by "is this possible?". if it's simply multi-monitirs, that's easy: You do this by using a video card that suppors multiple monitors. I have one htat allows up to 4 monitors: The Colorgraphic Xenetra GT, They're pricey, though: upwards of $400. But I can now multitable at least 2 different sites.

5/10 to 1/2? That's quite a drop.

I find dropping too far is actually worse and can screw up your game.

You should at least try 2/4.

True, but there can be configuration issues.

The technical part should be pretty easy. Just make sure that you have enough processing power to actually run three monitors and a video card that supports 2+ monitors.

Beware that if you have no experience playing 8/12 tables, it will probably take some time before you can (some people can't play 10+ tables). Also, heavy multitabeling tend to be stressfull.

I've no doubt that multi-tabling is a skill onto itself. I've improved to the point where I feel three shorthanded games at one time is just as lucrative for me as one or two. But it took time and practise. I commend those who can do more at a time. I strongly recommend humility in these regards. Some good poker players aren't built to multi-table. Some bad players may play more disciplined with a few extra tables. In multi-tabling everything is extreme...the rush...and the tilt.
