Default Clint Eastwood Flicks

So I'm starting to get into Clint Eastwood films. A few months ago I was lying around on a saturday afternoon and saw that one of the movie channels was playing "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" I'd never really seen an Eastwood western before so I gave it a shot and LOVED it.

Since then I've joined Netflix and so far I've seen The Outlaw Josey Wales and Unforgiven. I enjoyed them both (Unforgiven a bit more) but they lacked the great the soundtrack and shots from Sergio Leone.

He's got a lot of films under his belt and rather than wade through some of the less than stellar films, I'm looking for recommendations of the best films he's done.

Watch the Dirty Harry series, and bathe in Clint's awesomeness.

All the Leone Eastwood movies are awesome, some of my favorites. Go for Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and Good Bad Ugly. Another great Leone western (that unfortunately doesn't have Eastwood) is Once Upon a Time in the West.

Back to Eastwood...High Plains Drifter is OK. Hang 'em High is OK.

Not a western, but Where Eagles Dare is an awesome old WWII movie with Eastwood.

You really should watch Fistfull of Dollars and For a Few Dollars more. The are really what set up GB&U. They're not quite as good, but you'll get your Sergio Leone fix.

"Fist Full of Dollars" and "For a Few Dollars More" are the two other Leone movies in the trilogy. Then "High Planes Drifter" I think is still the man with no name, but it is directed by Clint.

High Plains Drifter is definitely in my top 5. That movie is so awesome.

Co-sign on the other Leone flicks too.
