which choice would you make?

Random thread, gave it the title to get more viewers. Ok, tonight I have the option of either going to a local card club I just heard about or to my regular casino Turningstone.

Right now its 12:00pm and I'm about to go to the gym and figure ill be out and showered by around 2:30pm. Now my options are...
1. Leaving immediately and travelling 1.5 hours (by myself because my usual partner backed out last minute). Hopefully be able to sit down by 5:00pm and play till around 12 (trying to shorten my sessions and get out by a decent hour). Now I'm most a 1/2 NL player and I'm familiar with the play over there and I'm a consistent winner. I usually split a room with my partner @ the poker rate which works out to be $45 each. But now that I'm alone I'm going to have to skip the room and make the drive back to my place.
2. After getting out of the gym heading over to Borders where ill sit and read LGB for about 2 hours just to get my mind right and find out what the book's all about. Next I'll head over to the local cardclub which Ive never been to and have no idea what type of players ill find. I've heard it's a nice place and the rake is decent, but the player I talked to played in the 5/5 game. On friday nights they have 1/2 which is the reason Id head over there, but I'm a little cautious.

So if you were in my shoes which 1 is +EV for my bankroll/life. Both sessions I'm cutting short to no longer then 8 hours. Also, I think the 1/2 game at the club is 300max and @ the casino they run 100 and 200max tables. Just a random post I felt like putting up and hopefully I'll have a couple of answers by the time I get back from the gym so I can weigh my options.

if it's the club over in latham then yes go their ... the one on evrett road it's a toss up between the club and tstone

not that it matters but i'm just curious: does partner mean something different in poker?

hahah thought i worded it funny... hes just my boy who I always play with, we almost never play on the weekends without each other (making it sound worse)
