uNL donkament

I'll try posting this again:

I'm setting up a donkament for the uNL forum. I'm trying to sort out what the buy-in should be (vote here) But I'd also like to see which site would be best for everyone. The choices are UB, FTP and PS. So vote away. I'll be sorting the game out for a Saturday and it should be time that is ok for most people. If it's a success we can make it a regular thing if people fancy it.

About that buy-in:
You should consider choosing the buyin level that has a solid "combined" majority instead of the buyin with the most votes.
Assuming everyone who's willing to pay $10 will also pay $5 or below.

I'm just saying so, to give the "real" microballers a chance to take part. This tourney ain't for the semi-SSNLers that are able to blow $25 on a fun tournament, after all. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I am in no matter where / buyin. As long as we have sufficient headsup to move money onto PS or FTP. (yeah I am the loner with the UB vote...).

I'm thinking of running it on the 18th of the month. Enough time to raise interest and let people shift money about if necessary.

As for the buy-in, I'm going to use my judgement on it but it'll more than likely be $5 or $10. That way it's at most one buy in for the $10NL guys.

I was also wondering about how to distribute the password (depending on which site we run it). I'd like it to be for legit uNL posters really. Maybe I can think of some conditions for people to qualify (number of posts on uNL, etc).

Just make that the date. There will always be people who can't make it. Thanksgiving is the following weekend and then you start to run into Christmas.

If the house vig is the same for a $5 or $10 tourney, then do a $10 as it is a better deal for the players. If not, $5 should be fine. The purpose isn't to make a bunch of money from other uNLers, right?

Just do it via PM way before and then just post it here the day of. I highly doubt that MSNL players will bother taking a few hours to pwn a $5 or $10 uNL tourney.

Anyway, that's my $0.02, take it for what it's worth.
