I agree,
Welcome to the Jungle>> Sweet Child O'mine especially for pure impact, it was the song that broke that style of music to the masses, but Do You Really Want to Hurt Me >>>>>>>>>>>Kar ma Chameleon still I like your additions I'll not debate the merits of all music in the 80's, nor will I complain about the neglect of influential punk and alternative music from the list(The Clash, REM), but for the genre of music they are lauding: "Faith" bt George Michael seems noticably absent "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" also should bump someone out. |

haaha. I'm the biggest 80s music nerd there is, but seeing this list shows me just how bad our music was. That being said:
U2 - Pride Men Without Hats - Safety Dance Journey - Don't Stop Believing Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart Duran Duran - Girls on Film (though I believe it was recorded in 79) To this day I get goose-bumps when I hear Pride. And Duran Duran had a track called Lasting First Impression off their Liberty CD that is excellent and probably my favorite song of all time. If you can scare up a copy of it, do so. And works well loud. LL the 80s! |
