Default 4/180. 99 in a tricky spot.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP2 (t1455)
CO (t5870)
Hero (t2180)
SB (t1555)
BB (t2240)
UTG (t1370)
UTG+1 (t1870)
MP1 (t930)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP2 calls t30, 1 fold, Hero raises to t120, SB calls t105, 1 fold, MP2 calls t90.

Flop: (t390) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero ???

I feel like my options here are:
1) Check
2) Shove
3) Bet 2/3 - 3/4 pot and evaluate on turn

I like #3, but I'd be curious to get some feedback.

edit: Oh, and what is my play on the turn, assuming it's checked to me and
a) a non-face club falls
b) something like the 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] falls

Can you explain to me your reasoning behind checking or pushing? I think that this will show you why these options aren't optimal.

t250. shoving is terrible, and checking is just slightly less terrible.

You HAVE to bet here. You can't afford to give any free cards. I would bet between 200 and 250. I don't see any reason to bet more than that. Anybody who plans to call 250 would call a pot-sized bet in my opinion. If a club falls on the turn you can fold to a bet w/o having invested too much into the pot.

It's likely you're ahead here, as there's no reason to put your opponents on clubs, but the only way to find out is to bet it. I don't see a pair better than your 9's limping/calling, but w/o reads on the opponents I suppose it's possible.
