How do you find the motivation to grind?
I cashed out some money from online poker on August and left enough to play 2/4 NL, I had no problems with putting in ton of hands in those games while rebuilding my roll. I climbed the stakes pretty agressively and was fairly soon playing 10/20, which is my main game right now. Unfortunatly it seems to be hard to find good 10/20 games at the moment often enough to play good amount of hands per month.
Because of that I have tried to 4-8 table little 2/4,3/6 and 5/10, but it seems sort of hard to play those games seriously and I try to outbully everyone aswell as do all kinds of spews. So I would like to know how so many good players from this forum are able to play 30-70k hands in those games month after month and not get bored?

hands before the ban -- 70k
last month -- 22k Are you talking about Party or in general? on Party Im sure its still doable to play ~70k a month with a good WR. You just have to learn to beat the no-so-good regs instead of hunting for tables with super fish on.

it's all relative. it seems like small stakes to you, but for people that have never played 10/20 it's not so small. i mean, you can have thousands of dollars on the tables at 2/4, and that isn't pocket change. also, since the dollar amount obviously doesn't make you play your best, i'd suggest setting non-monetary goals to help you play better. try to get the highest ptbb/100 you can, try to play different styles as well as you can, post your worst played hand of each day on the forums, etc. unless you're totally desensitized you should be able to find the motivation. as a successful 10/20 player, playing 2/4-5/10 should be a fairly easy, stressfree hourly rate of hundreds of dollars.

Because my bills come at the end of the month regardless of whether or not I feel like playing.
