Default QQ running into some trouble on the river

Comments welcome on all streets.

Preflop, I was a little worried because there was so little preflop re-raising going on at this table, especially when the initial raise was something other then min raise or from ultra low stacks.

The bet on the flop seems a little a weak in retrospect. But should I even be leading out this flop to begin with? I was a little surprised when it did not get reraised, but then the button came along and that did not seem good.

The turn looks like spew, if I do not plan on calling the river, and with only $2 left after the turn, I figured he would push the river. I guess I was just praying that he would check behind on the river and that I might be ok at the showdown.

The preflop re-raise made me think KK or AA, and I have been stacked a couple of times recently by overplaying QQ on dry boards (I was betting closer to 3/4 pot on flop and turn and it all went in either on the turn or river and I lost to trips or AA).

How far do you push QQ, and what indicators do you see that causes you to let up or just throw them away? How much do you call trying to get to a cheap showdown?

Re-raise with QQ PF to 1.5. On the flop bet more like $1. Shove turn.

Call that river.

Check/shove the turn. Nothing to be scared of here.

I figured the chance that he had AA or KK was much higher then him having say A10 or JJ, and I did not figure AK is betting the river. Honestly if he does not raise preflop, I am all in here either on the turn or the river, but the preflop raise really had me worried about KK's or AA's.

Am I being to tight/paranoid?

Noobler,

This is a terrible fold on the river. You are getting 4:1 on your call.
