Default DVD Burning Help

Hey sorry I am a complete noob when it comes to this. I have DVD-R's and a DVD burner. I have an .AVI file that I want to be able to view this on my DVD player.

I think I have to convert it to something right and then "transcode" the file or something I am not sure. I have DVD burning software that game with NERO I think.

If anyone can help this would be sweet.

Default Re: DVD Burning Help

My first piece of advice is to get a DVD player that supports DivX playback.

Of course if you want to hand this video to others for viewing on DVD, then I'd check out this site, it's called Google. Google

Anyway go there, and then search for a couple different phrases until you find out what you are looking for. For starters try things like "burning AVI to DVD" or "converting AVI to DVD" or "burning a DVD from AVI".

There is probably one, or maybe two guides out there on what programs to get and what you have to do exactly.
