Chicago v Miami o191.5 (-101@pinny)
Both teams aren't good at defence- I'm predicting last year champ to win their first game at home, 105-96. L.A. Lakers +4.5 (-110@bowmans), o207.5 (-110@vip) I think Lakers won't disappoint their audience in their first game at home, Phx don't play much defence at all, I see Lakers to win this game straight up. All plays are "to win 1 unit". |

The Bulls were a strong defensive team last year being #1 in the league in opponents FG%. Now they add Ben Wallace(arguably the best defensive player in the league) IMO this is one of the top 2 or 3 defensive teams in the league. You may still win your bet tho as Chicago will wanna get out on the fastbreak vs the aging Heat. |

If you take Lakers +4.5 vs suns you should take moneyline. The tempo and style of suns makes for huge runs on both sides. Almost all there games they win are for 10 or more... They also play much better D with Amare and Kurt Thomas, they just give up so many points because their are many more posessions.
Kobe said he doesnt trust his knee for this game. Without him 100 percent they have nothing against a team as good as the suns. Suns by 15 probaly. I should state I am biased because I think the suns have 3 of the 10 best players in the NBA on their team. |

Chi PF/PA is 97.8/97.2 in the preseason, which is more or less the same as they did last year. Although everyone says Ben is a huge factor but I don't know how well Ben is fit into Chi just yet. I also take into account that Chi is on the road (most teams give up more points on the road obv).

I'm taking the Under 192 on the Chi/Miami game, too much defense, LA Lakers/Phoenix Over 207 and Phoenix -4

I think most NBA teams on ring night lay an egg. Take the Bulls with the points. Miami may win but it will be by no more than 4 points.

I don’t even look at preseason stats, how much value can they actually have?

ImNew,
I don't like either pick personally. Chi/Mia game doesn't look good at all. The suns beat LA @ LA last year by 10 (122-110 if you are thinking about O/U) w/o Amare and a 100% Kobe. I dunno, I see the Suns starting off hot and the Lakers doing their typical slow start...they were 5-8 to start the season of last year in November. |

Okay so I have to admit that Chi v Mia o191.5 is obv a donk bet on my part, line dropped to 188.5 before gametime. I just can't foresee Mia to score 66 at home against Chi. I made a 1 unit play at Chi +7 -105 @Bowmans during halftime, since I didn't post it here I'm not going to include it in my YTD results.
Recap: Chicago v Miami o191.5 (-101@pinny)- L L.A. Lakers +4.5 (-110@bowmans)- W Phoenix v L.A. Lakers o207.5 (-110@vip)- W YTD: 2-1 +0.99 units |
