Pretty "standard" as long as you mix it up. (Where "standard" means "right", not "standard.") |

Re: 2/4 Stars, 4-bet preflop; completely standard, yes?
this is one of the situations Dave D will say you shouldn't have got yourself into, once you've been 4 bet you wish you'd just called the first time. But in fact you get here by doing nothing wrong -- 3 betting is good here and against most opponents you should be doing this 50% of the time or so. And all the other decisions are really super standard.

Re: 2/4 Stars, 4-bet preflop; completely standard, yes?
A little new to PLO... Is my thinking here correct? We're potting the flop into villian because we're pretty sure he has a naked AA and between our fold equity and 2 pair/trips outs, it's a +EV play. I would think we'd want more outs for a play like this though.

Re: 2/4 Stars, 4-bet preflop; completely standard, yes?
I like reraise preflop if you have position and to isolate, but there isn't any reason to not call in the SB here unless you think CO is on a steal and will fold preflop. So it's read dependent. Flop play is standard although I don't mind check-call.
