Bluff from BB In The Money
K, we are down to last 4 tables after around 730 runners. Villian has limped with weak holdings before, and in general seems like a shortie who is waiting for a good hand to get crazy with.

Re: Bluff from BB In The Money
It's sort of iffy.
Button's shoving over you on the flop no matter what. If you bet this flop, button shoves no matter what and you'll have to call with jack high. This really doesn't feel like a good bluffing situation because you're getting called just about every single time with as little as one overcard. However, I don't want to check/fold on flop because it's super weak/tight. I probably raise him all-in preflop. The limp screams weakness and since he's limped with weak holdings before, he may be able to fold preflop. |

Re: Bluff from BB In The Money
you shouldve raised pf. if he limps weak why let him catch something. i wouldve raised to 5000. i like that better than your obvious steal play.

Re: Bluff from BB In The Money
Check-shove's not gonna fold him out if he's firing a bet at that flop. He could be limping a monster.
Either shove preflop or shove flop. With his stack size, there's a probability if you shove... Why would he risk over a fifth of his stack on a limp if he's not gonna call the shove? Anyway, this is as nitty as I ever get, but c/f flop. |

Re: Bluff from BB In The Money
I was under the impression that the flop bet was effectively a shove given the stacksizes?

Re: Bluff from BB In The Money
Yeah, well, say Villain donkbets flop for minimum. You can't really fold, you can't call to see turn. Even Hero is too shallow to be able to do that. So the 6k bet will fold Villain out or induce a shove, giving you gazillion:1 to call, given he has 1.3k behind.
