Comments on all streets welcome (I think I should have shoved river, though i thought the spade might alarm him). The flop raise seem too enticing not to call. I don't like much 3betting the flop since too much of the time my stack will end up in there on an "ok" draw, and the same for check raising the turn (i don't have much fe by that stage either).

So that leaves check call the turn, check fold the turn or make small sort of pot or blocking bet?

I think check call is okay even though its a near pot as I think I am around 30% against his range + the implied odds if i hit on river.

I really don't know about a blocking bet or say a bet of 20 or more here - does leading the turn really make him fold even top pair? I don't think so.

I just don't like the way i played this hand from a poker perspective since I also haven't really given myself the chance to win the hand if I don't hit my draw.

Its not the first time raising hands like jts utg has got me into trouble..playing draws (even big ones) OOP on the flop and turn can be a real pain.

Cheers,

Really don't think you have too much fold equity on the turn, so I think raising only accomplishes making your draw more expensive

I like how you played it, except I would have bet more on the river.

He didn't raise on the turn, although I may have bet as a semibluff. As played, I think this is fine, as long as you'd fold to a big raise on the river.
