Default KJs, big pot

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Flop: (10.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)

Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero raises, MP3 3-bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 13.25 BB

i raised preflop cuz the table was full of fishes who cold-called with [censored], included the blinds.

flop: against only the bettor and almost closing the action, i felt my overccards outs could be good and the pot huge. i had no stats on this guy.

turn: standard

river: i thought he was likely to have something like top pair, or a medium pp.
should i have c/c, b/f, b/c ?

since MP3 showed aggression on the flop, I wouldn't expect him to have a Q on the turn. Therefore, you might have had some J outs. Raising the river was a bad idea, though. I'd just c/c in that spot.

The rest of the hand is fine.

How is the turn standard? You have nothing and cannot be sure you have 6 full outs, and may eve be drawing dead to a set or strt.....33, 77, 44, 56S is definitely in the range for MP3 to limp PF. For 6 pure outs you need about 6.5:1.......you are getting 7.25-1 on your call....this is marginal at best and a clear fold after you discount some (2?) outs for when you are facing a set or strt.

I don't mind peeling the flop, but think you need to fold turn. Once you hit you are in a raising war with a guy who knows you hit your Jack and says he doesn't care. If I had hung around to the river I am check calling this.

Fold the turn? We have 4 diamonds and the odds are ok to call!

The flop peel is fine. The best thing you did in this hand was not c-betting this flop.

The river check-raise is spew. Either donk it or check-call.

I like it. I would have put him on the same hands you did so I think raising is good and folding to the 3-bet is necessary if you're going to raise here. It looks like a set on the river.

i like all of the hand, except the river is an easy check-call in my opinion, and i would expect to lose most of the time but probably not 8 out of 9 times which is why i call it. as played it's a river spew.

Check/call river (bet/fold also an option against less aggressive opponents); the rest is fine.
