Default AWESOME BLUFF: Shoving into dry side pot on riv with air

Live 1/3 NL Friday night. Cast of characters:

Tight MP: Tight old guy, actually a pretty decent player, 2nd best player at table (OBV I'M #1). $400 stack.
Loose LP: Loose old guy, calls too much preflop takes hands too far postflop bluffs when people show weakness etc etc. $160 stack.
[censored] Button: This guy is just [censored] horrible, he ended the night when he "felt like going home" by calling off his $100 stack on a gutshot and hitting. $75 stack.

Preflop: The whole table limps. Standard.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Checked to Loose LP, who bets $6. [censored] Button calls. Tight MP raises to $12 (only truly donk move I saw him pull all night). Both other players call.

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Tight MP leads for $12 (ok, only other truly donk move I saw him pull). Loose LP calls. [censored] button shoves for about $62 total. Both MP and LP call. Button is audibly saying "heart or seven heart or seven heart or seven!"

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
[censored] button says "yessssss!" I refrain from jumping across the table and tackling him, what a douchebag. MP checks. LP shoves for $80 or so. MP tanks and folds; later he said he laid down two pair.

After MP folds Button triumphantly turns over 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for the flush; dealer asks for MP's hand and he says "oh I just have a busted flush draw" and turns over 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

GREATEST BLUFF EVER??

These have to happen in donkaments to be really special

I remember Tuff Fish bluffing into a dry sidepot in one of his videos, when a shorty was about to be eliminated

Do you understand WHY you shouldn't bluff into sidepots, and how it doesn't relate at all to cash games?

this is usually true but I think doing it with 7 high is a bit much

Did this happen to be at VIP in Houston by any chance? Sounds like a regular table there.

wtf, this has nothing to do with "check it down to eliminate the player" and everything to do with "the guy put his stack in on a 'bluff' with a 0% chance of winning a single dollar"
