TO to Denver?
Say it ain't so. I know this is just the starting point, but these things have a habit of turning into acquisitions.
Sorry, but even thought we have a lackluster receiving core right now, I very much do not want to see T.O. in Denver. |

Re: TO to Denver?
When the entire T.O. drama began, Chris Mortnesen did a piece for NFL Sunday Countdown of were Owens would end up. Denver was the choice. IIRC, Oakland, Miami & Green Bay were the other top options.
If I'm a Denver fan I'd hope they go in another direction. There are lots of other Free Agent WR's available: Reggie Wayne David Givens Joe Jurevicious Brandon Lloyd (Restricted) Nate Burleson (Restricted) Antwan Randle El Kevin Curtis |

[/ QUOTE ] He will be fine for next year, same as he was with the Eagles the first year. Might as well go for it while your team has a shot at the SB. |

[/ QUOTE ] I lost all respect for Owens this past season. After working his tail off to play in the Super Bowl...and then performing like a champ in the game itself...he goes on to act like a punk there after. He either should have sat out (and I would not have blamed him b/c he did deserve more $$$) or come into camp and act like a professional. He chose to play games and lost my respect. Very talented, of course, but I'd rather not have him on my favorite NFL team being a fan. |

What's the o/u on how long he could last without going off on Jake the Bake?

[/ QUOTE ] Nah, I don't think the under that, definitely not for sure. He is getting to his very last chance and he isn't in a city that had his back 100%. I think this has dawned on him even a little bit, and if it hasn't dawned on him it has gotten through to his agents/posse/the whole NFL, and those around TO will want it to work. Week 4? I think the team would have to have at least one tough loss for him to mouth off. That is much more likely to come after 6-7 weeks that 4. |
