Default Bellagio 5/10 NL vs. Wynn 2/5 NL uncapped?

I'm heading to Vegas Friday for the first time, and am wondering what my best bet is between the Wynn's 2/5 uncapped NL game and the Bellagio 5/10 NL 1000max game. I'm planning on buying into the Wynn 2/5 for a grand. I'll be there for a week, playing every night including during the Super Bowl. I read Larry David's thread from early Jan. which compared the various NL games in vegas, but the Bellagio 5/10 was only about a week old at that point, so I'd be interested to hear from those who have played it since. Any advice as to how these games compare? Will one be the better than the other on weekends/weeknights? Should I be looking to hit the Palms 5/10NL as well? Thanks for the help.

Wynn spreads a 5/10NL on a daily basis as well, so I don't think it's much of a problem.

I don't play in it, but I hear/see that that game is usually bad and occaisonally very very good. Whenever I take a walk from the 15 game I see a lot of people playing very deep playing a lot of small pots. I dunno. I'm a limit player and I've played the 5/10 only once so consider that, but the game doesn't look/sound good most of the time I'm at the Wynn, and I'm at the wynn a lot.

I've never seen the 5/10 at the B but I'm still convinced the 2/5 $200 min/max buy in is the best NL game in town.

Such a bad structure with that cap. Ugh.

The game isn't necesarily "ususually bad." When it is "bad," it is just full of regulars who are easy to read, play the same way all the time, play tight/passive. The passivity of the game and how bad most people play 2-3K+ stacks is what makes it good almost all the time.

And yes, it is sometimes very, very, very good. Did you see the 2/5 game I was in the other day with the hot chick winning the $25K pot?

Thanks for the response Clark, my concern about The Wynn's 5/10 is that I'm not really rolled for buyins bigger than a grand, but I guess I could just buy in for the standard 100bb if the game is good. I guess I'm trying to figure out whether or not a 100bb buyin in one of the 5/10 games is a better bet than a 200bb buyin in the Wynn's 2/5 game. Thanks.

If you are a good player and see that the 5/10 is good, take a shot with 100BB. Many others will have stacks around yours as well. I reccommend playing 200BB in the 2/5 during the week and when the 5/10 isn't as good.

The last few times I've been in there's consistently been a NL table that featured a lot of screaming and yelling, could easily have been it.

All evidence that I really should learn to play NL, but I'm lazy and don't put enough limit hours in as it is.
