I had this problem with a cat of mine. I had to throw her in the shower to break her of the habit. Maybe start by rubbing his nose in it, and if that doesnt work, maybe some harsh language (tone is important). You'll probably have to steam clean the carpet or get into the pad with enzymes to remove the smell. Pet care and discipline is time consuming, but worth it in the long run.

I watched a buddy in the dorms wake up, get out of bed and wander down the hall. He takes a left one door before the bathroom and pisses where the toilet would be if he wasn't in some poor bastards room pissing in his sock drawer.

Just get an airsoft gun and give him a few shots to the throat and stomach. Also do this randomly throughout the day so he doesn't know when it is coming.
