Default Spaghetti w/ Italian Sausage or Meatballs?

I prefer the italian sausage, especially if it's a spicy sausage. Also, do we prefer several average sized meatballs, or a single, bowling ball sized meatball?

For me,
2 sausages>1 sausage>several avg sized meatballs>one single large meatball

Followed up by a good citrus gelato and a mug of strong, good coffee.

Well, balance the diet, Jasper. There ya go.

sausage. I'd rather not have a bowling ball size meatball, but not a tiny kid's canned spaghetti size either. So if meatballs instead of preferred sausage, I say two or three nice midsize meatballs.

I didn't mean Chef Boyardee meatballs, meant more than 2 meatballs of manageable size. Haven't seen this in a while I'll admit. But then again, I've been getting sausage for the last few years.

The best thing to do is buy good Italian sausage not in casings, and make meatballs with that instead of ground beef. I like medium-sized meatballs.

If you make your meatballs with ground beef pork and veal (plus egg, parmigiano reggiano, herbs) they will not be dry.
