Default Strange problem with Logitech G7 wireless mouse

My mouse started acting up on me yesterday. Every 30 seconds or so it will just completely stop working. The cursor freezes and the buttons won't work either. Then after a short amount of time, it goes back to working perfectly fine. I know this is a popular mouse on the forums so I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone has any idea what could be causing it. I have tried the mouse on 2 other computers and it seems to work perfectly fine, so I guess the problem is on my computer somewhere.

Please help if you can

I assume this isn't a new mouse. Did it just suddenly start this 30 second cycle?

I wonder if it's a hardware error...

Just checked Amazon. I bought it on there, new, late July of this year.

Yeah it just suddenly started yesterday. I wouldn't say it is an exactly 30s cycle, just that seems to be the norm. Most of the time it messes up that often, sometimes it will work fine for a couple minutes before any freezing

couldn't be as simple as the batteries dying? and then in the time it is off the batteries get enough charge to turn it back on. or is the LED on the mouse still lit up when it happens?

you may want to try the downloads for this mouse here

No I don't think it is the batteries. The LED stays on when the mouse is "frozen"

The only download on that page is some software that came with the mouse. I already have it, doesn't seem to help at all.

Thanks for trying though

I had stuttering problems with my Logitech wireless mouse, the media version. Changing the USB port it was plugged into solved my problems. Not exactly sure why.........

Well, I have tried using different ports, same problem. When I had tested it on the other computers I only did it for 2min or so. After testing it longer I found that it freezes on them as well, so I guess I should just contact Logitech and get a new one
