I'm not folding. so it's b/c or c/c. I'd probably c/c and then kick myself with MP1 turns over two pair.

Villain is not folding so I don't see a point in betting. Not wanting to be raised or bluffed, I check, call, and pray he's holding something worse.

MP1 possible hands that we beat:

AJ (some combos discounted)
77
AA
99
A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Fluke KJ or KT hands

MP1 possible hands that beat us:

JJ
AQ (some combos discounted)
KQ
QJ (discounted some IMO)
random 8x (highly discounted)

I told Xhad that I would bet this river and expect to be ahead a decent amount when I was sweating him.

i would checkcall. it looks like a straight to me, and utg's aggression is not super high and he seems solid from your stats, so he's obv. not really afraid of the straight possibilities. i suppose he could have an underset or big draw but i think that's a little less likely at least. plus if he is overplaying a big pp he'll prob bet the river when we check, and we get a bet out of him that way, as opposed to if we're beat and bet and get raised, it's gross.

MP1 could have been betting a flush draw, which is now busted, however if they were on AKs then they've now got a pair. I think it's reasonable for MP1 to bet with a number of hands we have beaten, but I don't trust them enough to raise often enough with a second-best hand.

I check/call here. If MP1 was playing for a free showdown, they get it.
