Default Fatties Wanted!

OK. I am starting a weight loss website project.

However, I have a problem. I'm not particularly overweight. I mean, yeah, I could stand to lose ten maybe twenty pounds, but that's hardly major and won't sustain people's interest long.

Therefore, I am looking to hook up with a fat guy (and that's not a sentence I have ever said before). At a minimum I'd like someone who is willing to lose weight and blog about it in return for a share of revenues. Photos are optional but appreciated.

Ideally I would like a full partner, maybe even two, who could help with other stuff as well. The niche is somewhat time-critical and I am a firm believer that small teams can be more than the sum of their parts.

We can work the details out in PM / email but I was figuring something like a straight split of profits (after hosting etc) in return for roughly even contributions of work (after a bit of a set up blitz, I'd hope to keep it ticking along with a few hours a week or less each).

So, anyone interested?

A lot of competition in that niche market. GL.

Yeah, there is, which is why I wasn't sure I wanted to do anything about it.

However, I think that using Google's new co-op search engine tool as a key feature of the site actually makes this competition a good thing because the regular google rankings have more spammy results in them.

I could be horribly wrong though, in which case I'm down the cost of a domain name, some hosting, and some hours I would probably just have spent surfing for porn anyway.

It's a topic I've be interested in for about ten years. I'm no expert though, I'll freely admit that. I've got a solid base of knowledge. I'm also pretty good at absorbing new information and reprocessing it into a digestible format.

My parents are both on the chubby side, I'm into sport and food but have a sedentary job, so I have always been conscious about eating well and exercising. Well mostly, when depressed or sick or injured I tend to let out my inner fat bastrad.
