Default How do you find a Juicy table.

I checked the search function.

Do request a specific scouted table before or after you go on the wait list?
Do you normally walk around find the table you would like to sit at and wait or sit at another table till that spot opens and then have the floor manager move you over?

Do you walk around peridocally from your table and scout out other potential games?

Is it approiate to ask the bit boss which table he thinks is running the loosiest if you have no proir relationship with him? Do these guys normally give advice about this if you ask?

table selection online was imporant to me, I plan on making it just as important to me playing live.

If it's a live casino just walk to any table with an open seat and start playing. Online is a little different.

A good sign is seeing many beers at a table. Usually you request a specific table change after you've been seated from being on the wait list. Walking around, scouting a certain table you like, then sitting there is rather unlikely at most hours since there is usually a line. But there is a chance of that at certain hours or stakes I'm sure. I don't think most pit bosses are good judges of table selection. Indeed table selection is just as important live as online (even more so in my opinion).

Since I play mostly 1/2 NL, most tables I sit at the Taj/Borgata are mostly fish and no need to "find a good one". If however, I were to sit at a rare bad table, I'd just go to the floor and ask for a table change. Once a new seat opens, you're at a new table.

Just make your table juicy, straddle a couple times, get other people to straddle, make it look like you are there to have fun. Do one crazy 3 bet on the button with trash and show it to everyone. Its pretty easy to loosen up a dead table, don't be the nit who sits in silence if you want some action.

In my limited B&M experience, a table that has just opened up with all new players is much tighter than an established one. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be much you can do other than see how everyone plays once you're on a table to see how juicy it is.

Fors the most part I'd agree with you tom, but today I sat at a table with with 4 rocks to my left and maniacs on my right it was out of control. I want to avoid the rocks.

So its bad to have position on the maniacs and have the predictable players behind you?
Sounds like a good game to me you can play with the manaics without people behind you messing with you without premium hands.
I like a few rocks in my games.

1/2 NL, in general, is filled with people who suck.
