Default Brag: Tecmo Super Bowl Beat Down

I've played this game very, very long, and I've never ever came close to an ass whooping on the computer like this, so I guess I'd brag about it. Should've been 89 too, but that one INT was a major overthrow by Simms

Now I wish I wasn't a poor chump college student that sucks at poker so I could gambool on this game with 2p2ers. I'd like to see where I stand.

This was with no onside kicks either. I had like 6 or 7 safeties against them. LT, Pepper Johnson, and Gary Reasons = sick.

I know TSB isn't hard by any means but I've never seen anyone get close to an 82-point win.

With the Raiders I've only been able to win by like 55 and thats running Bo for a score every play.

For some reason I just doubt that a lot of people get scores like this. I practically scored on every play I had the ball.

I spent MONTHS of my life, maybe close to a year, playing Super Tecmo Bowl on the SNES.

Did you notice, that you could usually go 15-1 during the season, but there was always this one game where like, Thurman Thomas would go off like a crack horror on you, and you would fumble every other play, and get beat?

Maybe it was just me.

Yes, IIRC, Tecmo is coded to have teams get harder the farther down the season you go with a good record. I have gone undefeated before, it just took a lot of work and luck.

Looking at that box score there, you ran Otis Anderson three times? And Simms only completed 57 percent? Weak.

But nice score.

Meh, once I put up 23 in the first quarter I was going to try and score as much as I could (running=takes longer then passing to score on).

57% isn't great but when there really isn't much one can do to help complete a pass to a wide open receiver I'll take it.

Yes, I understand about the running.

Otis Anderson should have run zero times.

That is the balla thing to do, throw on every down.
