Default Flop Decision, KK 5/10nl

4 handed $5-$10 NL on Full Tilt

TAG player from what I've seen so far opens UTG ($1000) for $35, I ($1400) raise to $125 w/ K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the button, folded back to UTG who makes it $350 total. I call.

2 players ($715)

Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG pushes all-in for $650, I...??

Call or fold, and why?

I don't understand your play in this hand, why would you call pre-flop and then fold the flop?

Do you think he would fold QQ or JJ to your pre-flop push but give you action UI on the flop? I think just calling preflop is bad if you plan to fold this flop

The problem is we're beating 0 hands on the flop that a TAG 4-bets preflop, unless we have some read that he's apt to do this with AQ

I fold and dont think too much about it.

I agree with this.

I disagree with this. A TAG in a 4-handed 5/10 game is 4-betting a variety of hands imo and not just JJ+.

I would call here.

So what do you think a relatively unknown's 4-betting range is here?

How much of this range are we beating given flop play?

Obviously he knows we're getting great odds on his push and will call with anything reasonable, so he's not pushing with air or whatever too often imo.

The info is

-he's a TAG
-He's playing 5/10 short handed

This is enough imo to assume he's capable of 4-betting light and shoving a lot of flops. His range here is relatively unknown but OP must have thought it was wide to not shove PF.

I expect a TAG to follow through no matter what he has on the flop after this PF action a large majority of the time

I hadn't been 3-betting him too often, in fact this may have been the first time, though we'd only been playing for about an hour or two. Also, I don't think I'd seen him 4-bet previously.
