Re: Caught stealing....still a call??
Assuming there's an ante involved, open push. As played, about 1.8 to 1 odds, call anyway.

Re: Caught stealing....still a call??
Are the antes in play? If so, the pot was ~500 or so before your bet - and I probably would have pushed preflop. Your stack is getting down there...
As played, I'd depend heavily on my read on the type of player this guy is. If the player has been very tight, I definitely fold. If he's been loose-aggro at all, I call. If he's made some dumb plays, I happily call. With no reads, I think I'm probably racing at best, lean more towards folding, then plan on playing short stack poker aggressively. Only because if you've stolen from him a few times (and he's BB to your SB), the rest of the table is playing very passively, meaning you should be more successful stealing blinds in other spots. |

It doesn't get much better than that. Your hand has solid showdown value if you get called, and if you don't you get the blinds and antes. Your raise is like 1/3 of your stack anyway, how could you fold? Shove it in, hope to get called and win a race. Do you really want to face another orbit w/even less chips? |

Snapcall. Doing ok against 77+, KQs+, AQo+. Sure, 3-1 doggin' sometimes, but against the range, the price is right. Swing for 'em.

You're getting slaughtered by that range, 64/36. In fact, a casual glance will tell you you are behind every single hand in it! Openpushing would have been okay but calling here is sheet. Fold. |

Re: Caught stealing....still a call??
This call has -ev with the villians range. You're also thinking about calling 43% of the pot with KJs. Losing 3 out of 13BB's is a better option then calling 10BB's with bad pot odds.
The raise to 600 was a mistake. Should have pushed AI or completed and potentially folded to his raise. |
