Student essay submitted to me - WTF

As some of you may know, I'm a ninth-grade English teacher. All my classes are the "regular" classes. This is what I have to work with. Thoughts please.

Aside from the terrible spelling and grammar...is the content really that bad?

Edit-I think he had a decent idea...he just didn't express it very well.

Edit: having reread it, better reduce that time to 30 seconds.

So.. what did he get? What was the class average?

His writing doesn't seem to bad. Maybe teach him to spell keep.
