Default Best Ending to a video game?

Most people like to beat games to see the "Great Endings" Although, they mostly suck. But there was one game I played that had the best one. Super Nintendo there was a game "World Cup Soccer". My roommate and I would play as Cameroon we could get to the World Cup Final (We would each play 1 half) but we could never win it. Finally, we got a 1-0 lead and just played defense the whole time and won it. We were excited to see the end. We were all on podiums and they handed the coach the World Cup trophy. All of a sudden these guys dressed in black ran up and shot the coach and grabbed the trophy and said, "You may have won the World Cup, but you can't be the Super Nintendo team". Then you had to play them and they were impossible to beat. It was pretty cool though.

This pretty much made my day at about age 14, though it was more about the accomplishment than the actual ending.

Final Fantasy IV's ending comes to mind - Cecil and Rosa's wedding, Kain takes his helmet off
