Best table Selection
In another thread i was reading about the amount that could be won by a decent No limit player Someone said table selection is key.
I'm new to this forum thread so I'll preface this again, I played online a lot. The times I've been to a casino and played the 1/2 game, It's been insane. I mean the loosiest most action tables Online have never compared to that kinda of play. It was almost like playing at .05/.10 table. So maybe My definition is off for a juciy table. what are y'all looking for. When I sit down I look for people limping in early position and calling raises of 6x bb and obviously a lot of times more. I also like to see people taking TPTK way to far and worse. I've gotten this everytime and i think i've gone at some crummy times like Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at around 7pm or 9pm. Sorry for all these newbie question, but I'm trying to convert to live play and I know this is the best place to geared up for that. I'm still shaky about being in a casino. (the current limits i was playing at online till things with south was 100 full and 6 max and 200 full max.) |

Re: Best table Selection
Tues and Wed out here suck. 5-7 pm are slow. Guys with baseball caps are locals. Angel Largay says tell a joke that only locals will get, to see how many tourists are there. That works, actually.
Look for tables with lots of people calling and few raises. Look for people with bigger stacks, esp those who are drinking. You don't have to beat the whole table, just one or two who will pay you off. |
