Stars $10 MTT hand from last night
Everyone;
There are between 27 and 35 left in the $10 mtt on stars last night and this one comes up. First villain in hand is fairly tight and decent. Second villain (big stack) is new to the table, no reads yet. I can't wrap myself around the right answer for this hand. There are 1050 dead chips from antes in the pot, and the rest of the chips are from my remaining $28,865 * 2. I am getting 2.27:1 vs. 2 opponents. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t3000 (8 handed) internettexasholdem.com MP1 (t23558) MP2 (t32270) CO (t22363) Button (t33166) SB (t138548) Hero (t29015) UTG (t76623) UTG+1 (t41401) Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 5 folds, Button raises to t33016, SB calls t31516, Hero starts cursing a lot while his wife (possibly a better NL player than he is, tells him to call, but his instincts are to FOLD FOLD FOLD...........) For those not familiar, here are the rest of the payouts in this thing..... 1st $2,941 2nd $1,726 3rd $1,125 4th $831 5th $677 6th $550 7th $422 8th $294 9th $192 10th - 18th $102.33 19th - 27th $57.56 $27 - 35th $44.76 All comments welcome. |

Re: Stars $10 MTT hand from last night
I wouldnt call here. Theres a chance u could have him dominated but unless he's been seen making this play several times recently when it folded to him, id have to think your either flipping a coin or dominated. I think ud do better to fold in this spot and look for somewhere more favorable to put your money in.

Re: Stars $10 MTT hand from last night
Lol wait a sec. Is it just me or is this a standard push? The BTN goes all in with his shortstack which could be any PP, any broadways, any ace and a lot more suited connectors etc. The SB could call with a lot of PPs, A7-AK, and KQ. I think AQ crushes his range. I insta-push here.
EDIT: I thought we had over 290k and not 29k. I still push here. We are short and I couldn't imagine a better opportunity to triple up. |
