It's rigged for people who play better poker than their opponents.

and for people who understand that variance, bad runs and bad beats are part of the game, so they spend their time focusing on improving and playing their best game.

Everytime I tell my friends that pokerstars is rigged, they say "who is it rigged for?". Basically they tell me to shut the eff up, that their is no way a reputable site is rigged. And of course, the great question "why would they rig it?"

I don't know the answers. I do know that the exact reason I did not play at PS a few years ago was because of weirdness. Now Im forced back to stars and im seeing the mathematical oddities occur much more frequently again. I know no one wants to talk about it , and this will most likely get locked. But, ive played a few hundred sngs this last week at the $60s and $100s, and im actually doing ok. However my question is still, who is it rigged for?

seriously

1. Purchase pokertracker.com and track your next 10,000-25,000 hands.

2. Play within your bankroll. Have 40 buyins for whatever level you are playing or move down to where you will have a minimum of 40 buy ins.

3. Purchase and study several 2+2 books including theory of poker and the new NLH book. In addition do a search for the post made by gigabet about variance and study it.

If you do these 3 steps and you are HONEST with yourself you will likely find that pokerstars is not rigged in any way and that your opinions of rigging are due to the emotional damage that variance can inflict on your psyche.
