Default 80/160 flop plan

We're 4 handed

CO is mediocre/donkish tendencies
Button complete over aggro donkey

CO raises; pretty normal range here, Button 3 bets which means any two cards, I call in the BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], CO calls.

The flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, CO donk bets, Button Raises, Hero?

A few other reads are in HU pots CO donks weak made hands and draws but I have never seen him donk in a multi way pot. For the CO the flop raise means any two cards.

Fold. The CO probably has a weak/medium A here. Button any 2 you say... but that includes an A sometimes.

You are behind too often to make this +EV to continue I think. However I would say raise > call. Depending how unlikely you think button has an Ace, and what the chances the CO will fold his weak ace. Even this though won't be that exciting, as you will probably not win many more bets if you are ahead.

fold > raise > call.

Do you think CO is smart enough to be donking in order to get button to raise you out? Is CO capable of folding a bad Ace to a 3 bet?

Did you consider capping pf?

Yes

Small possibility of really weak A folding, but not likely

No I would rather have postflop position on the donkey rather than cap.

Really against this lineup? What's the worse hand that you're calling with.

It's hardly a big mistake. You've got ~fair share if CO is opening top 25% (66+,A2s+,K6s+,Q8s+,J8s+,T8s+,A7o+,K9o+,QTo+,JTo) and Button is 3betting the top 40% of his handrange. If either is tighter, it gets worse, and you're gonna pay a ton of bets postflop a lot of the time.
