A Survey Of AC

Im going to be in NYC over Christmas and was wondering what the action in like in AC. Wondering what kind of stakes you can find, in what poker rooms, and what kind of skill you can expect to encounter. I generally play HE, stud, and stud/8 but will play the omaha variations, albeit at lower stakes, as well if the action is really good.

Stick to the boardwalk casino's trop, taj, ballys, etc
Stay away from the borgata.
It's X-mas time bring a little cheer to the boardwalk

Why the discouragement from Borgata?

Visit the Borg, the Taj, maybe HOB, Trop. If you have to visit just one, I say the Borg or the Taj.

I think that's sophisticated third-level sarcasm or something -- maybe chasing people from his fishing waters -- but you can never be sure. I'd certainly recommend the Borgata, but then I don't go out of my way to confuse newcomers even though I love being sarcastic.

If you have some skill but little money, you have to come to the borgata to find those of us with some money but little skill.
