Default Dodging suckouts to build a bankroll.

I am trying to build a bankroll to be able to frequent .10/.25 and .25/.50 NL starting with 50 dollars on FTP. I buy in with 4 dollars at the .5/.10 9max tables and go up a little bit, then either get 2paired agianst in a hand or dont hit my draw when getting correct odds.

I usually play live, though i have been playing online for 8 months. (mainly MTTs)

so i guess what im asking is, Is it possible to build a respectable bankroll playing .5/.10 tight/agressive?
Right now i am up 12.50 over 5 hours. (1 hour of 8 tableing)
Any little tricks i should know about?

if this is in wrong area im sorry.

thanks,

kyle

So you have $60 in your roll right now? Perfect! Buy in to a $200nl table for your entire roll. As soon as you double up, cash out and move to a $400nl table. Repeat the process until you are pawning the $40knl games. Piece of cake!

Variance and suckouts are going to happen. Thats why your starting bankroll should be about $200 instead of $50, and you should buy in full at each table, not $4.

Yes it's possible, there are MANY people including myself that turned free 10 into hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands. Play in the nl10 games, buy in full if you're comfortable, just play TAG, you'll get paid off. But you have to be good, and know those players, have good reads, it's poker. And run hot, you can be good and run bad. Most of the time though, you're playing bad instead of running bad. Live and internet is different, I find live games softer and easier. Post hands, study, read posts, and try to get better and the money will follow.

And yes, put in 200 or more, it's tuition in the school of poker. But if you wanna turn 50 into something, you're gonna have to run hot. If you're playing the NL10 games, you'll have 5 buyins, although dropping 5 buy ins is standard, if you're good you won't drop 5 buyins in less than a week, if you do, you suck.
