Default Unusual internet problem

I can not access any webpages, except two plus two.

I can also connect to pokerstars (to play, but not the webpage).

Any ideas?

I figured it was a premissions issue but didn't notice anything wierd there. Tried reinstalling my modem, same.

It happened when my wife was on a moversguide.usps.gov website (this one also works). I opened twoplustwo, closed the site, and there you have it.

Neither Party or Wsex connect.

This has happened to me before. I think I was told it was a DNS problem or something... Long story short I could only connect to sites that I had very recently connected to. Did you restart your router?

Mine fixed itself after an hour or so.

Explorer...tried Mozilla same problem.

Also, I'm on a network and the other cpu connects to the internet fine. Tried switching the lan cables, but that didn't work either. Tried run "ipconfig". It poped up and closed again before I could see it. I'll try a print screen I think the DNS thing is probably right...but I have no idea.

This makes me feel a lot better. I'll try contacting my cable people and try it again after that. I was hoping it wasn't cpu based. I restarted my router about 4 times already though, but the cable people can send some kinda signal through to reconnect things I think.

Thank you.

alright, two things here:

1) to run ipconfig, run "cmd" first, then type ipconfig

2) i dunno how computer savvy you are, but are you familiar with what a DMZ Host is?

Ah...forgot about the cmd (I'm not that computer savvy). I don't know what the dmz host is.

tried ping. It gave me some options, I'm picking a few. They are like "ping [-t]".
