Hi everyone,

Please comment on this river raise. Villian is 30/7.5/1.26 over 200 hands. Nothing special jumps out about her.

Not raising is a crime. I'm capping too. He has Tx more then a back door flush. I'm checking through the turn as well. The pot is small, and we're the ones in need of a free card most of the time.

Yeah, check the turn missed that. Read the turn and the river the wrong way round I think.

I think I would take the free card on the turn, you are almost certainly behind here with 4 cards 9 or higher here.

On the river I like the raise. I think that you are ahead over 50% of the time here after the 3 bet, so capping the river also looks good . I think he has a Tx here at least as often as the back door flush .

I cap the river because this could just be a T and Villain can't 5-bet, but I'm not going to be shocked to see 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I don't mind the turn bet too much, since your outs probably kind of suck anyway if you get checkraised, and you probably won't get checkraised. But it kind of depends on how loosely BB defends and then peels.

You should have decent outs against the hands Villain won't checkraise with, though, and you might get folds from hands like A8 and 66 and 87. Or maybe I'm just delusional.

Eh, I don't know. The pot is kind of small, and maybe you don't have enough folding equity here.

How's that for uncertain advice ?

I play this the same. I think the K on the turn gives us more fold equity so I fire again.

I probably just call the 3Bet against most opponents, is a cap pretty standard? I play on the cryptos so the 5 bet is a factor for me.
