Is this common? (Casino Windsor)
I was playing NL 1/2, It was about 6am. I just took a 45 minute nap, to catch a 2nd wind and sober up a little. There are two tables of NL 1/2 going. I sit down at one and am playing for about 15 minutes. I won 1 pot that doubled me up.($100 to $200). The table shrunk from 9-10 people to about 6. I play better in short-table games because I was playing aggresive and everyone else there was playing like it was a full ring game. I won pots to keep even over the next half hour. Then one of the guys in the other game suggested that we condense tables. I think each table had 5 so it would make perfect for a full one table instead of two tables. The house came over and said it was alright. I think I was the only one who didn't want to have a full table.
Is it common for this to happen(the condensing of tables). I understand that at prime hours it will be so busy that they won't be so small of tables, but at this time of night I am wondering if it's common. This was my first time gambling live and haven't been back since. A few hands after the tables combined the half hour was up so I left to play blackjack. |
