GF mad at me need advice

I was reading this thread about halloween costumes for couples and I really liked the idea. So I found this site, which has some really cool costumes for couples like nut&bolt and key&lock etc. I asked my gf if she wanted to do that and she says they're funny but she don't want to go as them, she rather go as pretty woman.

I then make the mistake of saying that pretty woman is really skinny, and it doesn't fit her body type. She then got mad and I see tears forming. She then got up and slam the door, close them, then slam them again.

She has never gotten this mad before, and still wouldn't talk to me now. This happened like 4 hours ago. FYI we live together with two of her female friends who share the other room. My gf is now in the other room reading. I obviously had apologized and tried to talk to her to no avail. I went out to get her food too (her favorite salad from this restaurant)--she wouldn't eat it even though she hasnt had dinner yet.

I was wondering if you guys had any fun things I can do to cheer her up. I can't think of anything!

haha that's funny, she's actually very healthy and fit, she's actually running in a marathon next month and has a minor in nutrition.

This is not how you fix mistake #1.

Just give her time to cool off, and apologize. Women and their body images are touchy subjects.
