NL100 6-max, flop decision with AA
Which line do you like best here. Call with the intention to push the turn in case no heart falls off, or push/reraise the flop?
CO is LAG, I was sure he would bet the flop regardless. Haven't seen SB do anything out of the ordinary. Any comments appreciated. No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 5 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $116.75 CO: $109.75 Button: $127.75 SB: $47 BB: $58.75 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $3.5</font>, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($11.5, 3 players) SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">CO bets $10</font>, SB calls, Hero ??? |

Re: NL100 6-max, flop decision with AA
I don't your style, I'm assuming TAG based on this hand. Given what you did, I hope you check raised to at least $30 on the flop. I would have c-bet $7 or $8 and let the LAG raise me and 3 bet him on the flop though.

minraise to find out whre you are at.
Or you could just bet the flop... |

Not that I don't agree with betting out at ½ to pot here, but actually raising properly gives you infinately more "info" than a miniraise here. But anyway, a raise here against a LAGer wouldn't be for info but for value, the info is pretty useless. Against a really LAGgy, tenacious player, I can see myself check-calling this and reevaluating on the turn and river. EDIT: Bedtime, I missed that SB called the flop. This makes miniraising even more horrible though. |

Re: NL100 6-max, flop decision with AA
I'm pretty sure my opponents saw me as TAG. Rest of the hand:
<font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $113.25</font>, CO folds, <font color="#cc0000">SB calls all-in $33.5</font>. Uncalled bets: $69.75 returned to Hero. Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($75, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $108.5) River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($75, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $108.5) Results: Hero: shows A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Two Pair, Aces and Sixes, Queen high) SB: shows T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (A Flush, King high) Final pot: $75 I was wondering whether a call on the flop, push on the river would have won me the pot here? |

Re: NL100 6-max, flop decision with AA
Judging your replies I guess one mistake here was not building a sidepot with CO?
