Re: NL 25-AK line check
I play this the same, he could have a set but more likely something you beat like a flopped two pair or maybe badly played QQ or JJ.

Re: NL 25-AK line check
Two pair? BB Called with K7, K2, or 72?
I guess with an AF of 4, you're assuming he's just trying to push you off? How would you play this against a player you read as solid? |

Re: NL 25-AK line check
Against a tight player i think you prob have to assume a set here but if i was getting good odds i may call. you?

Re: NL 25-AK line check
If I was up against a player that I know to be good, I would have to fold the turn, however, I would play the flop the same.
The BB could easily have taken the open raise from the button as a steal attempt and wanted to defend his blind figuring he may not be too far behind with something like K7s or even A7 thinking his 7 is good on the flop and turning the two pair. |

Two pair? BB Called with K7, K2, or 72? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, yes and quite possibly yes ("Zomg, 2 sooted cards and I already have money in. Call!") OP gave us a read on villains post-flop aggresison. He said nothing about his pre-flop calling standards. |

Re: NL 25-AK line check
I'm not folding here. I'm sure we're beat some percentage of the time but I don't like to make folding top2 a habit at this limit. I think a lot of the time here you will see Kx that got scared\pissed of the ace and is trying to move you out.

Re: NL 25-AK line check
Looks fine to me as played. You may be up against a set some times, but with villains stats I don't see how you can get away from this hand.
Maybe just call original bet on flop to avoid bloating the pot. |

Re: NL 25-AK line check
Raise more preflop. I think all the money is going in here no matter what.
