Default Pocket Jacks UTG

$200 buyin 200k guarantee on Fulltilt.

I'm UTG with pocket Jacks. Blinds are 100/200. I raise
to T600. Mid position player miniraises to T1300.

I have T6500 and he has around T4500. No real good reads
though he appears to be decent. Blinds fold. What's my
best play?

Comments appreciated.

Bruce

I think we have to call, and resume aggression on any non-A, non-K flop.

I think a stop and go is a good play here, but at the same time a non A or K isn't necesarily a safe flop, a mini raise, at least to me, smells of AA or KK. AK or AQ would make a bigger raise I think to try and take down the pot right there since their hand is vulnerable. I think hes trying to keep you in. I say run the stop and go to a non A or K flop but be prepared to have to make a tough fold when he comes over the top.

There will be around T3000 in the pot. I'm pot committed
if I bet the flop based on his chipstack.

I think you muck or shove.

Shove.

From the outside looking in, andin the absence of any other information, I think I call, and if I don't flop a set or some great draw I check/fold the flop. I think the mini raise almost always is a big pair. I can't recall ever seeing someone play AK like this so if you haven't seen the mini raise before that'swhat I put him on.

In reality I never can make these great reads at the table, I get frustrated and curse my luck and push anyway, and get shown rockets

This is real read dependent. Is the small reraise a higher pp? I prefer push or fold to call.

I called the raise, three small cards flopped, and he shoved
AA right up my arse.
