just how much variance in the absolute games?
1/2 short. For 200k hands 1.3 BB/ 100 winner.
Last 100k+ hands I've lost over 800BB's. That is over the course of 2.5 months. stats? 23.27/16.3 attsb 29.23%. For those playing at absolute SH what kind of variance are you guys going through? |

Re: just how much variance in the absolute games?
just a thought.. there's a bigger than normal chance that 300,000 hands at 1/2 + constant winnings from rakeback and bonus have made you too complacent. i bet you haven't gotten any better over the last 100k hands and you probably don't pay as much attention at the tables as you used to.

Re: just how much variance in the absolute games?
Miles- I've been playing the same style I have always played. During the bad streak I had tightened up a bit and maybe that just made the downswing worst. But lately I have amped up my stealing ranges and am defending my blinds more aggresively.
Maybe this is a wake up call to play less tables and to concentrate on players tendencies rather than depending on hud's. ALthought at 1/2 you see the same players day in and day out and the table dynamics aren't changing all that much. Thanks for the response. |

Re: just how much variance in the absolute games?
dont take this the wrong way, but if ur making a thread about an 800BB downswing at 1/2, the thread title should have less words like "variance" and more words like "help my game is a train wreck"
